Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Houston is seeking a Project Director to oversee client relationships and ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Engineering, over 15 years of experience, and strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities include client communication, collaboration with internal teams, and project documentation. This is a full-time position based in the office, with occasional site visits required.

Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Project Director to join our Houston team.

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Houston, TX

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary

Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required

Responsibilities

• Communicating with clients to ensure that all of their needs are understood and addressed
• Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers
• Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
• Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s desires
• Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
• Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
• Assist with multi-discipline engineering and design activities
• Provides project control documentation as required, including: project design, project estimation, material/equipment procurement, field assessments of existing infrastructure, contracting requirements, scheduling requirements, construction requirements, project closure requirements, status reporting

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 15+ years of experience
