HNTB Corporation is seeking a Project Director in Arlington, VA to lead the development and execution of the project management plan for mega and super mega projects ($5M+ / $25M+). You will manage client relationships, project controls, risk and change management, andStaffing across initiatives while delivering projects on time and within budget.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and ~12 years of relevant experience, including 4 years on large projects. A PE/AICP/PMP is preferred.

This opportunity entails being responsible for leading the development and execution of the project management plan while building and maintaining effective and meaningful client relationships. This position serves as the primary client liaison responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of one or more mega ($5M+) and/or super mega ($25M+) projects including contracting, project controls, quality, risk and change management. The Project Director implements the firm’s project delivery plan using HNTB's Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 12 years of relevant experience including 4 years experience successfully managing and delivering mega and/or super mega projects.
Project leadership for complex transportation projects.

The approximate pay range for Virginia is $238,839.35 - $381,522.60. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position based on all selected locations within the state at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
