Job summary

ARCO National Holdings seeks a Project Developer in Chicago to lead entertainment or hospitality interior renovation projects from site identification through preconstruction. You will manage due diligence, entitlements, and cost control while coordinating with ARCO/Murray teams and external partners.

You will act as a trusted advisor on layout and design, manage schedules and budgets, and drive business development through client relationships and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• BS in a construction-related field preferred.
• 2–4 years in construction PM or MEP design for restaurant/hospitality/entertainment builds.
• PE license preferred; ARCO/Murray supports licensure for EIT.

Responsibilities

• Manage site due diligence and regulatory permit processes.
• Interface with brokers to facilitate lease or purchase and risk mitigation.
• Be the client’s primary contact during preconstruction and coordinate with design teams.
• Advise on site layout, design, and entitlement paths to meet timing and cost needs.
• Coordinate with real estate attorneys, landowners, and partners.
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, and preconstruction schedules.
• Prepare preliminary design and construction cost estimates.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management

Professional Engineer (PE) license

MS Office proficiency (Project and Excel)
