Brookfield Global Recruitment Services seeks a Project Design Engineer to lead security design for Access Control and CCTV/VMS installations. You will interpret drawings, BOMs, RFIs, and submittals, coordinating with engineers and the project manager to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to standards.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills and certifications in PAC/VMS systems. PMP/PSP and NICET are a plus, with excellent written and verbal communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Experience designing security solutions for Access Control and CCTV/VMS systems.
• Ability to interpret and translate drawings, BOMs, RFIs and submittals.
• Strong coordination with engineering teams and project managers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead security design efforts to meet customer standards.
• Prepare technical submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors to support project delivery.
• Interact with engineering team to track revisions, RFIs, and submittals.
• Support lifecycle of large-scale construction projects from design through commissioning.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify design documentation.

Descripción del empleo

As a Project Design Engineer, you will be a key member in designing, documenting, testing, commissioning, and/or bidding on electronic security (Access Control and CCTV/VMS) installations. Key responsibilities and experience should include:

• Manage respective projects, keeping consistent communication and track of deadlines.
• Engage with the different stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to interpret physical security standards, drawings, bill of materials, request for proposals, and submittal requirements provided by the client.
• Participate in coordination calls with the engineering team and designated project manager to ensure proper communication and delivery.
• Support project lifecycle of large-scale construction project.
• Track revisions, RFIs, and submittals throughout project lifecycle and make sure industry standards are adhered to.
• Hold responsibility for technical submittals for delivering security projects.
• Primarily lead security design and make sure it meets customer standards.
• AutoCAD - strong experience required.
• Certifications in PAC/VMS Systems (Lenel, CCure, Genetec, AMAG, Bosch etc.), and PMP, PSP (Project Management), NICET (Fire Alarms) are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
