Job summary

K. is seeking a hands-on Cost / General Accountant to join its Greer, SC accounting team. This full-time on-site role focuses on job costing, project accounting, and financial systems, reporting to the CFO.

The position uses Dynamics 365 Business Central and ProjectPro to manage budgets, cost codes, and WIP schedules. The successful candidate will prepare monthly cost reports, maintain accurate cost data across multiple entities, and contribute to financial close processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with job costing, project accounting, or manufacturing cost accounting.
• Working knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting and WIP schedules.
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up new jobs, cost codes, and project budgets in Business Central and ProjectPro.
• Update project budgets as change orders are approved.
• Review costs for proper coding across labor, materials, and subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly job-cost reports with cost-to-date and ETC information.
• Reconcile field production data with ERP costs.
• Assist with month-end close and intercompany entries.
• Develop Power BI reports to improve cost visibility.
