Job summary

AMS Industries, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Refrigeration Group. You will assist the Project Manager with purchasing, cost projections, estimating, coordination, and invoicing, while coordinating material deliveries and ensuring timely PM meetings.

You will report to the Executive Vice President of the Refrigeration Group and collaborate with project managers and external contractors to drive project success.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience in the mechanical field.
• Experience in HVAC Refrigeration or as a Project Coordinator a plus.
• Excellent logistics, communication, and management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to external clients/audiences.
• Demonstrated supervisory/management skills and the ability to motivate/manage a team(s).
• Experience with project management software.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping attention to detail.

• Process POs and sub-contracts for the purchase of equipment, supplies and services.
• Job cost projections and job cost reports.
• Assist with job estimating and process change orders.
• Assist Project Managers with estimating/proposals/coordination/close-out.
• Job invoicing preparation and updating commodity pricing.
• Material/Equipment tracking and coordinate deliveries.
• Prepare PM's for monthly PM meetings.
• Work with Fab shop to coordinate deliveries/ordering materials.
• Coordinates activities with other trades areas, project manager or outside contractors.

Out of our Bolingbrook, IL facility, you\'ll report to the Executive Vice President of the Refrigeration Group and assist the Project Manager in the success of projects while supporting their division and leadership team.

In this role, you\'ll process PO\'s and sub-contracts for the purchase of equipment, supplies and services, process change orders, and handle job cost projections and job cost reports. You\'ll assist with job estimating and support Project Managers with estimating/proposals/coordination/close-out, along with job invoicing preparation and updating commodity pricing.

You\'ll also manage material/equipment tracking and coordinate deliveries, prepare PM\'s for monthly PM meetings, work with the Fab shop to coordinate deliveries/ordering materials, and coordinate activities with other trades areas, project manager or outside contractors.
