PlanStreet is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Project Coordinator – Public Health to support the onboarding and implementation of PlanStreet’s case management software for public health agencies and community-based organizations.
This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining project plans in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner, tracking deliverables, and ensuring successful client onboarding within scope, timeline, and budget.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting public health or human services programs and managing structured implementation projects using Microsoft project management tools.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Planning
- Support end-to-end onboarding projects for public health agencies implementing PlanStreet case management software.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project.
- Manage task assignments, progress tracking, and collaboration workflows in Microsoft Planner.
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (product, training, data, engineering, support).
Client Onboarding & Implementation Support
- Assist with implementation planning, including kickoff meetings, requirements gathering, configuration timelines, and go-live preparation.
- Document client workflows, program requirements, and compliance needs.
- Support data migration planning and validation processes.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing activities.
- Track training schedules and onboarding milestones.
Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and distribute project status reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Facilitate regular client check-ins and internal coordination meetings.
- Escalate risks, delays, or scope changes to the Project Manager.
- Maintain organized project documentation and implementation records.
Public Health & Compliance Alignment
- Support projects serving public health departments, behavioral health programs, social services agencies, and grant-funded initiatives.
- Ensure project documentation aligns with reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements where applicable.
- Understand common public health workflows including case management, referrals, intake, assessments, and outcome tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, implementation, or public health program operations.
- Hands-on experience managing project timelines in Microsoft Project.
- Experience using Microsoft Planner for task tracking and collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting the implementation of SaaS or case management software.
- Familiarity with public health agency operations or community-based organizations.
- Understanding of case management workflows and client data systems.
- Experience supporting government or grant-funded programs.
- PMP or CAPM certification (preferred but not required).
