Job summary

STULZ is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the PMO in coordinating facility and CAPEX improvement projects across Maryland, Tennessee, and Texas locations. The role requires strong self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time, in-office position based at the assigned STULZ facility, Monday through Friday. No remote or hybrid option is available for this role.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's/Bachelor's preferred.
  • 2–5 years of project coordination, facilities/construction, or manufacturing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tracking tools.

Supports the PMO in coordinating and tracking facility and capital (CAPEX) improvement projects across STULZ's Maryland, Tennessee, and Texas locations. Responsibilities include projectscheduling, contractor/vendor coordination, purchase order and budget tracking support, meetingcoordination, and maintenance of project documentation.

This position reports directly to the Directorof PMO; requires strong self-direction, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multipleconcurrent projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a full-time, in-office position based at the assigned STULZ facility, Monday through

Friday. No remote or hybrid work option is available for this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for assigned facility/CAPEX projects (renovations, equipmentinstalls, contractor and GC work) across MD, TN, and TX sites
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines in the PMO's project tracking system(Monday.com, MS Project, or Confluence/Jira); flag slippage or at-risk items to the assignedProject Manager
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including scope statements, charters, RAID logs,issue logs, change logs, and meeting minutes
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings; prepare agendas, distribute pre-reads, and documentdecisions and action items
  • Support purchase order creation, tracking, and invoice reconciliation for facility/CAPEX vendorsand contractors in SAP
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact between the Project Manager, site facility contacts,contractors/GCs, and internal departments (Engineering, Purchasing, Production, EHS)
  • Track permits, inspections, and compliance requirements tied to facility projects; escalte gaps ordelays to the Project Manager or Director of PMO.
  • Support budget tracking by monitoring actual vs. forecast spend on assigned projects andflagging variances
  • Coordinate site visits, vendor walkthroughs, and material/equipment deliveries with site contacts
  • Support vendor/contractor onboarding, including certificates of insurance and SAP vendor setup
  • Assist the Project Manager in preparing status updates and reporting for ELT and stakeholderreview
  • Additional duties as assigned by the PMO Director to support successful project delivery
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Provide backup coordination support on other active facility projects as needed, based on PMOworkload and staffing
  • Support cross-site coordination when a project impacts more than one STULZ facility
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able tomanage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing and facilitiesenvironment. Strong written and verbal communication skills and good judgment in a multi-stakeholder environment are required.

Education/Experience:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree inconstruction management, project management, business, or a related field is preferred. 2-5 years ofexperience in project coordination, facilities/construction, or a manufacturing environment is required.Familiarity with standard project management concepts, scheduling, and documentation practices isrequired.

Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Project), including basic formulas in Excel
  • Experience with project tracking/scheduling tools (Monday.com, MS Project, Atlassian or similar) preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to read and track basic construction/facility schedules and scopes of work
  • Must have the ability to follow and give clear written and verbal instructions in English
  • Must have the ability to speak effectively with contractors, site staff, and internal stakeholders to perform daily duties

Project coordination experience or CAPM certification a plus, not required

Specific vision abilities required close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works primarily in an office environment within a manufacturing plant, with regular on-site visits to active production, warehouse, and construction/renovation areas across the assigned campus.
