Job summary

SynQor in New Hampshire is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate cross-functional teams as new products move from early design to manufacturing.

Position Description:

Coordinate the efforts of various teams within SynQor to support the research, development, and release of new products. Oversee and assist with facilitating tasks required to meet key project milestones and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be a member of the NPI team and will work cross-functionally to coordinate the efforts of all assigned resources to move new products from early design stages through the introduction to the manufacturing process.
• Create and adhere to project timelines for the release of new products to market ensuring that all new products meet company testing, safety, and quality standards
• Coordinate requirements for each stage of development including procurement of materials, test builds, etc.
• Communicate project status and project risks with management

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 1-3 years in Project Management preferably within a manufacturing or R&D environment

Required Skills:

• Will coordinate various technical and administrative personnel, including engineering, to ensure project deliverables (scope, design, safety, scheduling and SOPs)
• Coordinate the flow of information between engineering and operations to stay within project guidelines.
• Make project plans, account project requirements with stakeholders and coordinate the efforts for successful completion of projects with dynamic priority changes
• Drive continuous improvement processes throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Manage project correspondences by preparing and reviewing meeting minutes and emails
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Project or applicable PM software
• Candidate must be able to multitask on a high level and a quick problem solver
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to see big picture as well as detail levels.
• Foresight for potential risks and roadblocks with the ability to execute on a plan for risk mitigation
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the product development process

Preferred Skills:

• Strong project management and project planning experience/knowledge with demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion
• Experience in Agile/Scrum practices & experience with lean principles and/or six sigma certification
