Reports to: Director of Commercial Operations, Data Centers - AMER

Role Overview

The Account Coordinator will oversee all project workflows throughout the building lifecycle for FläktGroup’s Hyperscaler and/or Colocator projects. This will include oversight of the internal processes for quote management, order placement, engineering, production, start-up, and commissioning, through final closeout of the project, tracking to key milestones while utilizing our internal tools and software. This role ensures every function is aligned and working towards a seamless customer outcome. This opportunity is about executing the systems, engaging the team, and enabling a culture of executional excellence that will scale with FläktGroup’s growth with our most high-profile client(s).

Key Responsibilities: This role will require strong PMP Experience.
  • Lead the development of quotations, RFP responses, and project execution plans, ensuring all milestones, timelines, and quality standards are met
  • Manage the full RFP lifecycle, coordinating internal contributors and producing high quality technical and commercial submissions
  • Support account management by maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring clear communication, and identifying future opportunities
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, commissioning, and site activities with data center operators, consultants, contractors, suppliers, factories, and global FläktGroup teams
  • Prepare and submit all required project and client documentation in alignment with RFP, contract, and customer requirements
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation while proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actionsKeep stakeholders informed of progress, costs, risks, and key project issues
  • Participate in design reviews to validate technical solutions and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Manage Health & Safety compliance and oversee site services, acting as the primary on site contact when required
  • Produce and manage Risk Assessments and client specific documentation, including portal uploads
  • Facilitate start up and commissioning activities and manage subcontractors involved in these processes
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to ensure service procedures are followed and completed to a high standard
  • Review project issues and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability through design enhancements, value added improvements, and recovery of additional costs
  • Contribute to long term customer retention and growth through ongoing account management support
What we're looking for

REQUIREMENTS
  • PMP or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the Data Center Industry, or relevant field
  • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Service
  • Hold a relevant experience in Construction/Mechanical Engineering - or strong trades background; Ideally Mechanical bias with good knowledge of Electrical aspects
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with the Data Center industry
  • Possess strong operational skills and an attention to detail, and experience of the design build process on Data Center projects
  • Be computer literate with strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Project, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud and other Project Management Tools
  • Have a strong technical background in HVAC is essential for this role - experience in managing the supply of equipment and services in the Data Center vertical is highly desirable
  • Have excellent communications skills
  • Competent at liaising with multi-discipline teams
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks, co-ordinating and delivering the project on time
  • Active Driving License
  • Flexibility for travel within the U.S. up to 30%
