Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of IT Project Coordination/Project Management experience required
  • Exposure to Infrastructure technology projects and project management
  • Experience working as an IT project coordinator or similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Multisite hardware deployments
  • MS Project experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
  • Understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. As a Project Coordinator, you will work on exciting infrastructure-driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Our global infrastructure planning and deployment services deliver thousands of projects each year. From employing our methodologies at hundreds of sites to leveraging complete enterprise design services, customers trust our infrastructure experts to assess their current technology and design solutions for the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Tracking and understanding documentation deliverables for multiple small IT projects
  • Gather documentation from the customer
  • Assist with or manage oversight of all aspects of the project life cycle, including initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing; taking the project through final implementation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated skill with Microsoft Excel
  • General understanding of project scope and objectives
  • Basic understanding of project team roles and functions to coordinate activities/tasks effectively
  • Follow best practices and ensure that requirements are met and documented
  • Document project risks, assumptions, and constraints; aid in implementing approved actions and workarounds to mitigate risks
  • Monitor status of all identified risks to minimize their impact
  • Manage project budgets to ensure all budgets, forecasts, and costs are tracked and reported
  • Use appropriate tools and techniques to identify and quantify variances
  • Document success criteria with project managers or leads
  • Assist in managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs
  • Ensure issues are captured, resolved, and documented
  • Participate and/or lead project meetings, follow up on action items
  • Provide status updates for reports and reviews
  • Coordinate various project and program tasks
