Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator to support key projects and accounts, focusing on planning, strategy, and on-time completion while complying with safety standards. You will coordinate daily with team members, manage quotes and orders, control inventory flow, and ensure proper documentation and delivery by collaborating with the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree with 0-3 years related glass and aluminum work experience preferred.
  • Able to multi-task, organized, efficient, and accurate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, fractions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with team members daily and provides the required information concerning all aspects of jobsite production orders and daily planning.
  • Communicates effectively and timely, both verbally and in writing, to ensure on-time delivery, management of the flow of raw materials and control of inventory and non-stock items.
  • Responsible for ensuring time-sensitive project quotes corresponds to the submitted price protection timeline.
  • Responsible for entering all project quotes into the system and scan specification sheet, warranties, take-offs, and documents into database within a 24-hour period.
  • Furnishes quotes with provisional DISCLAIMERS related to specialized product conditions, non-stock items, product availability, and alternative product choices upon request.
  • Responsible for acquiring special project pricing from vendors on high volume requests.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks, and attends company sponsored technical training.
  • Provides Inter-company price quotations.
  • Responsible for verification of product purchase orders and quoted materials to ensure reciprocal alignment.
  • Responsible for the sample submittals through the utilization of our Vendors and in-plant inventory.
  • Responsible for the coordination of information with the Plant Manager, to ensure timely production, proper packaging, and on time delivery.
  • Maintains appropriate working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Creates and maintains an environment that promotes teamwork and inclusivity.
  • Effectively communicates with our Accounting Department to make sure that all supportive financial documentation is properly submitted, and job accounts have been established.
  • Maintains interaction with Customers, and assists with external sales support visits, if needed.
  • Performs other related duties and provides back-up support to other group members as assigned by Management.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for daily support of Key Projects/Accounts and for a successful execution of project related activities such as planning and creating strategies to ensure that the project is completed successfully. Skilled in identifying and troubleshooting problem areas and creating workable resolutions. All activities must be performed according to corporate and plant safety standards.
