Job Title Project Coordinator (Focus Area in Records & Registration)
Performs a variety of professional and administrative duties in support of the day to day operations of a function, program, and/or department – this is not a secretarial position. Assists in program planning and development; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding operating policies and procedures; administers budgets; and coordinates academic and/or staff personnel matters. Resolves problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department.

3. Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including Family Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA )
4. Assist with coordinating academic matters
5. Resolve problems that have a significant impact on the overall goals of the department
6. Responsible for accurately performing academic data entry and verification within the College’s student data management system
7. Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
8. Provide support to the Records Office by entering and articulating transfer credit and maintaining transfer credit rules
9. Preserving student records and responding to student requests as needed
10. Articulate official transfer transcripts and alternate credit, including CLEP testing, AP scores, and CBE
11. Campus lead for the Transfer Equivalency System ( TES ) and Transferology
12. Verify and record Associate transfer degrees that meet appropriate accreditation rules
13. Maintain transfer credit rules in PeopleSoft
14. Review and process change of major/minor/endorsements in SIS
15. Record transcript notations as needed
16. Other duties as assigned
