Responsibilities

As a Project Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing all stages of fiber optic construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Working closely with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and work plans.
  • Tracking project performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion of project goals and objectives.
  • Ensuring all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Communicating project progress to all stakeholders, including project team members, senior management, and clients.
  • Identifying potential risks and issues, developing contingency plans, and managing project changes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Project Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications or construction industry.
  • Proven experience with Outside Plant (OSP) and fiber optic technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Superior organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
