Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Coordinator to support fast-moving construction projects, coordinating conveyor and material handling system builds for airports, hubs, and logistics facilities.

This mostly office-based role includes periodic site visits in Aurora, CO, and close collaboration with project managers, engineering, fabrication, supply chain, and customers to keep plans on track.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0–5 years of experience in project coordination, construction support, estimating, or related roles.
  • Understanding of construction workflows including scheduling, cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, and change management.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and RFQs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/estimating tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, field teams, vendors, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities including scheduling, documentation, communication, and task tracking across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with estimating and bidding by organizing RFQs, gathering subcontractor pricing, preparing takeoff information, and supporting proposal development.
  • Support project planning by helping align engineering, fabrication, supply chain, and field teams on timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Maintain project documentation including budgets, cost updates, schedules, meeting notes, logs, and performance tracking tools.
  • Administer project communication including contracts, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs, and status updates.
  • Assist with field coordination through jobsite visits, issue tracking, safety documentation, and quality verification.
  • Support team development by helping streamline processes, organize training materials, and reinforce company standards.

Project Coordinator

We’re seeking a Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast‑moving construction environment and enjoys supporting complex industrial projects from planning through completion. In this role, you’ll help organize and track the delivery of conveyor and material handling system builds that support essential infrastructure across airports, parcel hubs, postal facilities, and other high‑demand sectors.

This position is primarily office‑based with periodic travel to active job sites. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineering, fabrication, supply chain, field leadership, and customers while supporting projects that span design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, modernization, and long‑term system operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
