Job summary

MYR Group Inc. seeks a Project Coordinator to support construction management in the electrical sector. You will interface with senior project professionals, manage timesheets, POs, and submittals, and assist with yard inventory using SAP and Maximo.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required. Minimum 1–3 years in construction admin with an associate degree preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Coordinator's duties include, but are not limited, support of functions related to construction management in the electrical construction industry. Must be able to interface with, and provide general project support to, senior project professionals.

• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work assertively in a fast-paced environment.
• Materials handling and logistics experience is preferred.
• The Project Coordinator will utilize SAP and Maximo to accurately manage inventory movements in and out of the yard.

Essential Functions

• Reconciliation of timesheets to work orders and work orders to work order logs
• Print test results
• Billing preparation
• Investigation of purchase order summary reports
• Enter POs in the system
• Assist project professionals in various administrative areas
• Job number generation and set-up of job information
• Generation of submittals and final close out packages
• Applicable surveys
• Switchboard backup
• Union/Apprenticeship needs
• Other duties as assigned
• Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location.
• Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 -3 years of administrative support experience in the construction industry
• Associate degree preferred

• Ability to think practically in order to solve office problems and interface effectively with senior project personnel
• Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel

  • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
