Overview

Title: Project Coordinator (Civil)

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: Flanders or Hackensack, NJ

Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000, based on experience and qualifications

Brief Description

The candidate shall be working towards or maintain a Professional Engineer’s (PE) License in the United States (preferably New Jersey) with 8 years of experience. Candidate will be engaged in concept and detailed design, planning, specifications, QA/QC, regulatory approvals, general management and supervisory responsibility in the Civil Engineering industry. Experience in the preparation and review of private development applications, Municipal Zoning Code, Residential Site Improvement Standards (RSIS) and NJDEP Permitting Requirements. Must have the ability to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods. Responsible for the scheduling and management of a project team in support of the project’s profitable operation.

Responsibilities

• Actively manages project scope, schedule and budget of projects.
• Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned work.
• Coordinates work efforts and reviews of work performed by project teams.
• Supervises and mentors individuals to achieve overall project objectives.
• Stays informed of developments and requirements affecting the organization and projects and relays the same to project team and client promptly.

Requirements (education, Licensing, Certifications, Etc.)

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• PE License track preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus).

This is a full-time position located at one of our Headquarters Office in Flanders, NJ or our Northeast Office in Hackensack, NJ. The work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
