Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Tulsa seeks a Project Coordinator to join our team. You will own standard projects from order receipt through delivery, interfacing with customers and internal functions to meet schedule, budget and quality goals.

This role requires 2-4 years in a related setting, a Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent, proficiency with MS Office and ERP (JD Edwards), and occasional travel to support project execution.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience coordinating projects in engineering/industrial settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of standard and repeatable projects from order receipt through delivery, meeting financial, schedule, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
• Act as the primary customer interface, managing communications, escalations and stakeholder expectations.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, reporting and follow-up activities to ensure on-time delivery and margin protection.
• Coordinate communications between internal functions (engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, sales).
• Apply project management processes and internal procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
• Represent Howden, a Chart Industries Company, with professionalism and accountability.
• Support a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project flow and profitability.

What Will You Do?

Your Experience Should Be...

• 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, customer support, or operations in an engineering, industrial or similar environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple standard projects simultaneously with structured follow-through or lower-complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in similar roles.
• High ethical standards, teamwork, and compliance with regulations.
• Strong organizational, time management, accuracy, and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize when to escape issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel on occasion, as required.
• Experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards
• Exposure to project management methods; certification is beneficial but not essentail
• Familiarity with rotating equipment & general air & gas handling industry
