Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Coordinator to join the Project Assurance Team in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and surrounding offices. You will coordinate projects from initiation to closeout, partnering with Project Managers to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

You will support communication, documentation, and collaboration across clients, subconsultants, and internal teams, enabling PMs to focus on technical leadership and client service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in business or a related area is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in document control or administrative support within engineering or construction.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support projects from initiation through closeout in partnership with Project Managers.
  • Coordinate project communications, meetings, action items, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor project performance metrics including budgets, schedules, WIP, percent complete, and KPIs.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and document control processes.

  • Track deliverables, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and revision histories.
  • Assist with project financial administration, including invoice reviews and budget tracking.

Job Description

As a Project Coordinator (PRC), you will be a billable member of the Project Assurance Team, partnering with Project Managers (PMs) to support projects from initiation through closeout. In this role, you will help ensure compliance with project management and quality standards while providing the day-to-day coordination, tracking, and communication necessary to keep projects running smoothly.

You will serve as a key point of coordination among project teams, clients, subconsultants, and internal stakeholders. By managing project information, monitoring performance metrics, facilitating communication, and supporting project controls, you will help project teams deliver successful outcomes while freeing PMs to focus on technical leadership and client service.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the success of complex and impactful work.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project Managers to support projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closeout.
  • Coordinate project communications, meetings, action items, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Monitor project performance metrics including budgets, schedules, work-in-progress (WIP), percent complete, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and document control processes to ensure accurate and organized project information.
  • Manage and support project collaboration platforms and tools, including SharePoint, ShareFile, Smartsheet, Procore, and similar systems.
  • Track project deliverables, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and revision histories.
  • Support project quality and compliance efforts by promoting adherence to project management, QA/QC, and contractual requirements.
  • Assist with project financial administration, including invoice reviews, budget tracking, reporting, and coordination with billing teams.
  • Facilitate coordination among project teams, clients, subconsultants, and other stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and aligned with project objectives.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Omaha, NE, Lincoln, NE, Fort Worth, TX, Dallas, TX, or Overland Park, KS office locations.
