Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Project Coordinator to support the SEADC’s Community and Wellness program, including SEAMHI. The role coordinates with partner organizations, supports data collection, and helps deliver services to families and youth in San Francisco.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Direct Service: conduct outreach on health topics and promote SEADC/SEAMHI services.

  • Conduct client intake and screening, identify goals, and connect clients to services.
  • Provide health education and connect clients to health and community resources.
  • Coordinate wellness activities, workshops, and presentations.
  • Coordinate mental health trainings with funders, therapists, and partners.
  • Provide case management, service coordination, and follow-up.
  • Attend funder and professional trainings as required.

Job description

Summary of Position

The Project Coordinator supports the coordination, implementation, and delivery of projects withinthe SEADC’sCommunity and Wellness program area. The position currently plays a key role in the Southeast Asian Mental Health Initiative (SEAMHI), coordinating SEADC’s work with partner organizations to support cohesive program planning, implementation, data collection, and service delivery. The position also supports the Southeast Asian Support Services project and other Community and Wellness activities as assigned.

The Project Coordinator provides both administrative and direct service support, including coordinating project goals and deliverables, engaging clients in activities that promote mental health and wellness, and connecting clients toappropriate internaland external programs, services, and community resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct Service (60%)

  • Conduct community outreach on health and wellness topics and promote relevant resources and SEADC/SEAMHI services.
  • Develop and updateoutreach materials and flyers.
  • Conduct client intake and screening;identifystrengths, needs, and goals; complete required forms; and connect clients to appropriate internal and externalservices.
  • Support client health and wellness by providing health and risk-reduction education and connecting clients toappropriate health, social, and community services.
  • Coordinateandfacilitatewellness activities,workshops,and presentations.
  • Coordinate mental healthtrainingsand workshops with funders, licensed therapists, and other partners.
  • Provide case management, service coordination, and follow-up as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Administration (40%)

  • Support implementation and integration of SEADC, CCDI, LSA, and VFS workplans by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and monitoring projectmilestones.
  • CoordinateSEAMHI workgroup meetings, including scheduling,logistics, and meetingdocumentation.
  • Assistwith managing program supplies, purchases, and expenses within the approved budget.
  • Maintainaccurateandtimelyclient records, data collection, and reporting in Salesforce and other required systems, in compliance with funder and SEADC requirements.
  • Attend funder, program, and professional developmenttrainingsasrequired.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related fieldrequired; orat leasttwoyears ofrelevantwork experience in a similar setting.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bilingual in a Southeast Asian language (Khmer, Lao, Thai, or Vietnamese).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and cultural competency with Southeast Asiancommunities.
  • Knowledgeof services and resources available to children, youth, and families in SanFrancisco.
  • Experienceconducting client interviews, screenings, and assessments.
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations, including youth, adults, low-income individuals, immigrants, and English languagelearners.
  • Strongjudgment, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with data entry and CRMsystems; Salesforceexperience preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms andcommunications platforms such asMicrosoftTeams.

  • Passion for the organization's mission and values.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and organizational events outside regular business hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, and travel locally asrequired. This includes participation in the annual staff strategic planning offsite, staff appreciationeventand fundraising events.
  • Successfully completefingerprinting background check and TB clearance beforestartdate.
  • Mustbe authorized towork in the United States.
