Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Project Manager on our Rock Hill, SC construction projects. You will attend meetings, document actions, assist engineers and superintendents, and help produce monthly reports while maintaining filing systems.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of field experience or equivalent education, with knowledge of Procore and proficiency in Microsoft Office. High school diploma required; associate/bachelor preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provides overall administrative support to the Project Manager
  • Assists the Project Engineer with log maintenance
  • Attends and documents weekly staff meetings
  • Assists Superintendents as requested
  • Assists the Project Manager/Project Engineers with monthly report production
  • Assists Project Manager/Superintendent with safety statistics monthly report
  • Assists Project Manager/Project Engineer in the documentation of punch listing process
  • Coordinates reproduction of contract documents, submittals, and blueprinting requests
  • Implements and maintains project filing system
  • Assists with other responsibilities as determined by the Project Executive/Project Manager
  • Maintains Gilbane inventory

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Some knowledge of commercial/institutional construction projects
  • Knowledge of Procore
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong technical and communication skills
