Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America in Portland, OR is seeking a Full-Time Office & Project Administrative Assistant to support planning and organizing of office and project activities for electronic security installation projects.

You will assist in planning and scheduling engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities, coordinate material procurement, and maintain records of job status and budgets while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience in an administrative role, project management, security integration or technical experience.
  • Valid US driver's license with acceptable record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

  • Represent Company in a business-like professional manner in both conduct and appearance, to maximize client satisfaction
  • Available to work outside of, or in addition to, normal businesses hours.
  • Work in compliance with the Company’s polices and procedures including safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times.
  • Maintain and protect assigned Company assets.
  • Accurate written record keeping, submitted on time and complete
  • Assists in planning and scheduling engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities for service work.
  • Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies and services and controls timely delivery to job site.
  • Receives, maintains and organizes materials in warehouse and stages materials for pick up.
  • Maintains all records of job status, budget changes, material flow and completion dates
  • Assist in monitoring time logged to projects by all resources

Job Description

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree (2 year) or Bachelor degree (4 year) in a technical capacity
  • 4years of experience in the security industry

  • Working Hours: This position generally works Monday - Friday, overtime when necessary.
