The government client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator for a 12-month contractor assignment within its Information Technology Services Program Management Office. This position will support project managers and cross-functional teams by coordinating daily project activities, maintaining schedules and documentation, and helping ensure milestones and deliverables remain on track. Although the position is locally remote, the selected contractor must reside within commuting distance of downtown Phoenix and be available for on-site meetings or activities as needed.
The Project Coordinator will maintain and update project schedules, milestones, and deliverables; prepare status reports for leadership and stakeholders; and coordinate daily project activities to support timely completion. The position will also facilitate project meetings, document and distribute minutes, decisions, and action items, maintain organized and current project records, and track project risks and issues. The selected contractor will be expected to proactively identify concerns, communicate potential impacts, and help keep project teams aligned and moving forward.
The anticipated hourly wage for this position is $60 - $70/hr, as a W2, depending on qualifications and experience. Qualified applicants may be invited to participate in one or more interviews.
