  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, travel details, documentation, and follow-up items that support project delivery.
  • Track action items, project timelines, deliverables, and communication needs to help teams stay organized and accountable.
  • Prepare, format, edit, and maintain project documents, reports, meeting materials, project records, and closeout support materials.
  • Support Project Managers, Mechanical Leads, and technical team members with administrative coordination and day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain accurate project information in shared workspaces, internal systems, contact lists, and project coordination tools.
  • Assist with expense reporting, travel coordination, training records, certifications, field tools, and other operational support needs.
  • Help create a smooth project experience by keeping team members informed, prepared, organized, and supported.

Project Coordinator
About the Position:

As a Project Coordinator for EEI, you will help organize, coordinate, and support the administrative details that keep data center and high-reliability facility projects moving forward. You will work closely with project managers, commissioning professionals, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal support teams to help keep project schedules, technical documentation, communications, and deliverables on track.

This role is a strong fit for an organized administrative or project coordination professional who enjoys supporting technical teams, managing details across multiple priorities, communicating clearly, and helping project teams stay aligned in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.

Annual Compensation Range: $67,000 - $104,000 / year

The above salary range is based on the Denver, CO labor market and subject to change based on location.

Location: Remote within 45 minutes of our Lakewood office.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project schedules, meetings, travel details, documentation, and follow-up items that support project delivery.
  • Track action items, project timelines, deliverables, and communication needs to help teams stay organized and accountable.

Qualifications:
Required
  • Experience supporting projects through coordination, administrative support, executive assistance, operations support, engineering support, construction support, or a related coordination role.
  • Strong organizational, follow-through, time management, communication, writing, editing, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, track details, coordinate schedules, and support multiple project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive project and team information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected to project teams, technical staff, and internal support partners.
  • Currently authorized to work in the U.S. full-time.
Preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Communications, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, commissioning, facilities, mission-critical, data center, or technical project teams.
  • Experience with project coordination tools or platforms such as Deltek, CxAlloy, Bluebeam, Procore, BalanceCx, CRM systems, or similar tools.
  • Experience coordinating travel, project documentation, meeting logistics, expense reports, vendor information, certifications, or field team support.
Working Conditions:
  • Typical Travel: Limited to occasional. Travel requirements vary by project assignment, team needs, and individual location.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid environment of office-based work, remote coordination, and occasional field or project site support. Site visits may include mission-critical facilities, data centers, active construction environments, mechanical rooms, and field interactions.
  • Physical Requirements: Primarily office-based work using computers and other office equipment for extended periods. May occasionally stand, walk, stoop, or lift and carry up to 10–25 lbs. Reasonable accommodation may be provided.
  • Reports to: Associate, Team Leader, Project Manager, or assigned Mission Critical leadership, depending on organizational structure and project assignment.
  • Supervisory Duties: This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The position is expected to provide coordination, organization, follow-up, and administrative support that helps project teams and team members operate effectively.
  • Partners with: Works closely with EEI project managers, Mechanical Leads, technical team members, clients, contractors, vendors, internal support departments, accounting, operations, and Mission Critical team leadership.
  • Key Representative to: EEI project teams, clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
