You will partner closely with insurance carriers, adjusters, TPAs, property managers, and commercial stakeholders to ensure scopes are accurate, pricing is competitive, and jobs are positioned for profitable execution.This role blends technical estimating with referral-driven sales and marketing. It carries dual responsibility, producing accurate, competitive estimates for both residential and commercial losses while also developing and strengthening referral relationships that generate new revenue opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer emergency losses with urgency (including after-hours as needed), professionalism, and ownership to secure the opportunity and position the company as the provider of choice.Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for residential and commercial projectsConduct thorough site inspections and translate field observations into complete, scopes of work.Collaborate with production and project management teams to support smooth handoffs, job starts, and scope alignment on both residential and commercial projectsIdentify scope gaps and pursue approvals through proper documentation, supplements, and adjuster communicationManaging multiple residential and commercial projects simultaneouslyManage open bid pipeline and follow up consistently on submitted estimatesProactively stay top-of-mind with referral partners between projects through consistent outreach and follow-upConvert one-time project opportunities into long-term referral partnershipsQualifications & ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you should have:1 year of hands-on estimating experience (residential and commercial losses)Ability to respond to emergency situations on nights/weekends/holidays/vacation as necessary to service our customersXactimate experience strongly preferredExperience with mitigation processes, documentation, and insurance expectationsProven ability to build B2B relationships and generate repeat referral businessComfort supporting marketing efforts (presentations, networking, customer meetings)Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skillsStrong communication skills with homeowners, commercial clients, and insurance professionalsTeam oriented, accountable, and results driven work ethic.Compensation & BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package including:Guaranteed base salary plus commission based on project profitabilityCompany vehicle or Auto Allowance (based on availability)Fuel cardEZ Pass or Toll TagLaptop and smartphoneFully paid employee life insuranceOptional medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planGenerous paid time offAdditional tools and support to ensure your successand more...Compensation is commensurate with experience and will be discussed during the first interview.Base Pay Maximum: $100000 per hourBase Pay Minimum: $65000 per hourIf you are driven, relationship-focused, and ready to grow your career with an industry leader, apply today and join the BMS CAT team!BMS CAT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
