Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Colorado is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the Taft Engineering team. The role coordinates across internal teams, customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely, accurate deliverables and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include generating purchase orders, maintaining CRM records, assisting project managers with proposals, and handling project documentation.

Qualifications

  • 1-5+ years of project coordinator experience.
  • Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Background checks and pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales support for Taft Engineering team.

Scope of Position

This highly organized and detail-oriented individual, as part of the Taft Engineering team supports the successful execution of project and sales activities by coordinating across internal teams, customers, vendors, and contractors. The role ensures timely, accurate deliverables and a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive communication and seamless project support in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to District Sales Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Colorado.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide sales support for Taft Engineering team.
  • Generate Purchase Orders for Engineering projects.
  • Communicate and Coordinate with external vendors for necessary project forms including vendors set up, w9 form, COI, etc.
  • Communicate and coordinate with end users for necessary project forms including customer setup forms, w9 forms, certificate of insurance forms, etc.
  • Enter required information in Taft software for customers, vendors, contractors, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to make sure appropriate forms and documents are correctly filled out and completed for each project.
  • Coordinate with accounting department and provide necessary documents/information for projects.
  • Create and maintain shared electronic file system to store all project documents.
  • Assist Engineering project managers with administrative support.
  • Receive, generate and record project invoices and forward to accounting.
  • Create and maintain CRM records for projects.
  • Assist project managers with proposal development for Taft Engineering projects.
  • Coordinate submittals with customers and contractors.
  • Track and file approvals in appropriate job folders.
  • Work closely with the internal team members and external sales and support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Travel in support of sales for training, meetings and customer site visits.
  • Cover voicemail and email for sales staff while members are on vacation or unable to access their mailbox.
  • Monitor phone system and answer customer calls.
Required Qualifications
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • 1-5+ years of project coordinator experience.
  • Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
  • Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
  • Experience and Knowledge of Microsoft office programs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site at a sales office/warehouse facility and will perform the majority of your duties in an office environment. You may, at times, be required to be present on the manufacturing floor and will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment. You will be required to work in the office at the Taft Engineering location (Monday – Friday). Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements

Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods. Ability to move about the office to organize, transport, or retrieve files, packages, or other office-related materials. Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry. Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, including during meetings and phone calls. Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, phones, and copiers.

Pay Range

The expected salary range for this position is $26.15 - $28.40 hourly. Actual compensation will be dependent upon individual skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable law. This position is “at will,” which means that either the employee or Watts may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice, and for any lawful reason.
