Job summary

Georg-Fischer in Irvine, CA seeks a Project Specialist to coordinate supply for defined project business, interfacing with Production Planning, Supply Chain and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery and accurate scheduling.

You will lead cross-functional project teams, manage schedules, communicate risks, and maintain EMS compliance while supporting continuous improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3–5 years in related product or industry preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to understand and utilize MRP systems.
• Willingness to travel on a limited basis.

Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with Production Planning to align on current and upcoming projects.
• Coordinate supply chain to ensure transparency of product needs and scheduling.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate risk management.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate with the project team and stakeholders.
• Participate in production meetings and support EMS environmental goals.
