Job summary

Golden State Water Company is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support the Capital Program Management team in delivering capital projects on time and within budget. You will create schedules, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts, while coordinating with engineers, procurement, and construction teams.

The role emphasizes maintaining cost-loaded schedules, developing dashboards in Power BI, and producing routine status updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field with at least 5 years of project controls experience.
• Experience with critical path scheduling, cost management, estimating, and document control.
• Experience with Trimble Unity Construct (e-Builder) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects in Trimble Unity Construct/e-Builder.
• Analyze data, review logs, and run reports in Trimble Unity Construct or other tools.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures and link to Cost Breakdown Structures.
• Develop and maintain scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts for multiple capital projects.
• Support engineering, procurement, construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control.
• Assist with development and maintenance of dashboards in Power BI.
• Interface with project team to review schedule progress and respond to questions.
• Perform schedule what-if scenarios and ensure reporting accuracy.
