HEPCO, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance reporting.

You will work with program leadership, the PMO, and engineering teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong cost controls across all workstreams. The role emphasizes developing budgets, tracking actuals, preparing cost summaries, and generating executive dashboards.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering/finance/accounting or related field.
• Minimum five years in project controls, cost engineering, or financial analysis.
• Utilities/energy efficiency or infrastructure background preferred.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data-management skills.
• Proficient with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, and cost reporting.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Capable of independent work and leading program reporting.
• Ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and report on program budgets, forecasts, and dashboards.

• Support KPI tracking, performance metrics, and executive dashboards.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to support program budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and performance reporting. • Develop, maintain, and report on program budgets, forecasts, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or financial analysis.
• Experience within utilities, energy efficiency, or infrastructure programs is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, financial reporting, and data-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Smartsheet.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, and cost reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead program-reporting activities.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.00per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
