Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to oversee cost, schedule, and performance metrics across select projects. You will administer controls systems, analyze variances, forecast costs, and present reports to leadership.

Indicated requirements include a bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of experience in project controls for large capital construction programs, with strong Excel and dashboard skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls on large capital construction programs.
• Strong knowledge of cost reporting, forecasting, earned value, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
• Ability to develop executive-level dashboards and detailed supporting analysis.
• Strong Excel and project controls systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer project controls systems and processes and support monitoring of budget performance, commitments, and actual expenditures.
• Analyze cost and schedule variances and maintain a performance measurement baseline approved by client.
• Support accurate forecasting, assess cost impact of changes, and recommend optimization actions.
• Prepare standardized project controls reports including earned value analysis and KPI dashboards.
• Present project controls reports to project leadership.
• Maintain contingency logs, performance trend logs, and forecast variance registers.
• Prepare contingency adequacy assessments and adjust forecasts as conditions change.
