WSP is seeking a Lead Project Controls Specialist (Cost Engineer and Control) to join our Project Controls team.

Your Impact
- Collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Work with project team members to develop the project cost breakdown structure and baseline budget.
- Monitor actual project costs and track potential changes to forecasted budgets.
- Establish methods to measure project progress and utilize project performance data to assess cost performance.
- Review invoices to verify accuracy, documentation and compliance with contract and project requirements
- Manage project controls data using designated applications or tools.
- Prepare cost reports or presentations.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to progress reporting, including proofreading for consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Complete routine, frequent deadlines for a variety of project reports. Collaborate with project team to collect information and provide finished reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with respect to contract compliance.

- Develop project controls dashboards.
- Prepare cost reports or presentations.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to progress reporting, including proofreading for consistency and accuracy in reporting.
- Complete routine, frequent deadlines for a variety of project reports. Collaborate with project team to collect information and provide finished reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation with respect to contract compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, data, business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in construction project cost management and project controls.
- Engineering and Construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in cost management software, project management tools, Power BI and relevant industry standards.
- Understanding of financial principles and budgeting practices.
- Familiarity with project scheduling preferred.
- Confident self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and organization while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders.

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $149,700-182,100
