Job summary

GEM Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Project Controls Specialist to support the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This full-time position may allow for hybrid or remote work. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of project controls experience using Primavera P6. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Possibility of hybrid or remote work.

Responsibilities

• Provides varied project controls support which includes:
  • Primavera P6 utilization
  • Schedule development and maintenance
  • Cost analysis and controls
  • Earned value measurement
  • Reporting
• Facilitates internal team communication and meetings.
• Assists with customer interactions, including tracking project management deliverables and presenting project management status to external or internal customers.

Requirements

• Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work, or a high school diploma with 20+ years of verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work.
• Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
• Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance.
• Must have demonstrated verifiable experience (min. of 10 years) with Primavera P6.
• Must have experience with schedule development and maintenance, cost analysis and control, earned value measurement, and reporting.
• Must be able to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities.

Desired Skills

• Active DOE "Q" clearance or active DoD "Top Secret" clearance highly desired.
