Opportunity
The Project Controls Senior Analyst is an experienced project controls professional assigned to a cost and schedule role in our Grid solution working on transmission line, substation, or distribution portfolio of projects.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Competently perform all aspects of cost analysis according to training, capability and experience, under general supervision
- Provide guidance to less experienced project controls personnel
- Act in capacity of a “lead person”
- Have project team supervisory responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the capability of leading the project control function of a project and able to influence internal and external clients
- Lead facilitator of project forecasts
- Recognize issues and advise project team or JV partners on matters affecting project execution
- Support proposal efforts
Cost
- Lead project cost controls team to prepare baseline cost deliverables
- Lead and analyze monthly/quarterly reports
- Lead quantity management reporting
- Lead change management program
- Lead risk analysis and management of risk register
- Apply key scheduling processes
Schedule/Planning
- Lead project controls scheduling team in plan & schedule preparation
- Interface with JV partners for Planning and Scheduling activities
- Ensure constructability is part of planning process
- Apply key cost control processes
PJC Management
- Lead a team of project control professionals
- Coordinate planning and cost control functions on less complex projects after baseline in place
- Ensure systems are in place to know work status and identify issues proactively
- Interface with management team to identify issues
- Advises field teams and HO PCM on matters affecting project success as applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
Minimum Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree with six or more years of relevant cost control, planning & scheduling experience OR no bachelor’s degree required with eight or more years of relevant cost control or planning & scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office

Work Environment / Physical Demands
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments
- Office Environment: Sitting, talking, hearing, keyboard input and seeing. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required
- Construction Site Environment: Standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving, walking long distances. Requires seeing/hearing naturally or with correction. Work at heights above 5 feet and up to 12-hour shift. Exposure to extreme temperatures, inclement weather, hazardous equipment.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Plan: PJC: Project Control
Compensation Transparency: Salary ranges: Colorado $108,262 – $161,371; Minnesota $103,341 – $154,991. Final compensation based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal alignment, geographic location and other factors permitted by law.
