Position Overview

Project Controls Sr Analyst – Cost

Location: Bloomington, MN; Denver, CO

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of cost analysis according to training, capability, and experience, under general supervision.
• Provide guidance to less experienced project controls personnel.
• Supervise project team members.
• Lead project control functions and influence internal and external clients.
• Facilitate project forecasts and recognize issues for the project team or JV partners.
• Support proposal efforts.
• Lead the project cost controls team to prepare baseline cost deliverables, analyze monthly/quarterly reports, quantity management reporting, change management program, risk analysis, and maintain risk register.
• Apply key scheduling processes.

Management Responsibilities

• Acts as a lead person; does not have management responsibility for those to whom they provide work direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong cost experience with understanding of projects with multiple currencies.
• Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree with six or more years of relevant cost control, planning & scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of relevant experience in Home Office or Field Office.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
• Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.
• Construction site environment requires standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving, walking long distances, ability to see or hear naturally or with correction, work at heights above 5 ft, climb and maintain balance on stairs, ladders, scaffolds, up to a 12-hour shift and may involve hot or cold temperatures, inclement weather, extreme lighting conditions, and hazardous equipment.
