Job summary

HDR is seeking a Scheduler II to develop and maintain CPM schedules, applying standard scheduling methods to support planning and recovery efforts. You will build baseline and updates with logic ties and milestones, while ensuring data quality and schedule health.

The role requires experience in construction scheduling, familiarity with Primavera and MS Project, and a strong commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture and diverse teams across the US.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in Construction Scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project and other scheduling tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

As a Scheduler II you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of CPM schedules of moderate complexity and apply standard scheduling methods to support planning, monitoring, and recovery efforts. You will be required to develop and maintain both baseline and updated CPM schedules, including logic ties, milestones, and coding structures. You will also be required to exercise judgment within the defined assigned scope, perform schedule health checks and correct routine issues related to logic, constraints, and data quality. Other responsibilities include analyzing schedule progress, float, near critical paths and preparing schedule narratives. The successful candidate will also support schedule coordination meetings and integrate inputs from project stakeholders as well as maintain schedule reporting cadences and support change tracking and schedule impact documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications (one or more): CST, CCT, CACM, CMIT, CDT, PSP, EVP, PMI-SP, EIT
  • Cost control background
  • The ability to develop and interpret construction schedules
  • Familiarity with other scheduling software
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in construction industry
  • Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years in Construction Scheduling.
  • Basic understanding of scheduling software for storing data and presenting schedules in various levels and forms of detail - Primavera, MS Project, and/or other scheduling products.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
