Base pay range

$70.00/hr - $95.00/hr

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to join the Utility industry supporting large-scale capital projects in the oil & gas and utility sectors. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in schedule management, cost modeling, and project controls, with a strong ability to analyze, manipulate, and report on complex project data. Experience with Combined Cycle/Simple Cycle power plants and refinery projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Specialist to join the Utility industry supporting large-scale capital projects in the oil & gas and utility sectors. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in schedule management, cost modeling, and project controls, with a strong ability to analyze, manipulate, and report on complex project data. Experience with Combined Cycle/Simple Cycle power plants and refinery projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6 and other tools.
  • Manipulate, evaluate, and report on schedule data; produce high-quality, actionable reports for project stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate Stage Gate and project deliverables, including FELS, cost modeling, risk registers, contingency analysis, estimate evaluations, and schedule analysis.
  • Integrate cost information into project schedules and support cost/schedule risk analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise written reports and presentations for management and project teams.
  • Support project controls for major capital projects in oil & gas, utilities, electric generation, offshore O&G, heavy industrial, and new platform developments.
  • Maintain and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
