Job summary

Gridworks seeks a Project Controls Manager to guide controls for utility-scale solar and battery storage EPC projects. You’ll manage schedules, costs and resources, delivering reports to stakeholders and leading a project controls team.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project controls, strong people leadership, and familiarity with CMiC, Procore, and Power-BI. Travel to project sites may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years in project controls, cost, scheduling or planning.
• Strong people management experience and leadership abilities.
• Experience with CMiC, Procore, Power-BI and P6 is preferred.
• Experience in utility-scale solar or battery storage projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support project management teams with planning and takeoffs.
• Create and manage project budgets and cost baseline.
• Administer change management and claims processes.
• Perform cost analysis and forecasting.
• Provide progress updates and earned value analysis.
• Prepare project and company-wide reporting.
• Conduct schedule performance and time-impact analyses.
• Analyze project controls data and present findings to management.
• Train teams on Project Controls processes and tools.
• Prepare progress billings and assist with budget reviews.
• Develop new processes and procedures as assigned.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
