Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to develop and maintain construction schedules across multiple programs.

You will ensure activities have clear predecessors and successors, drive on-time delivery, and coordinate with procurement, engineering, and field teams. You will analyze shift in scope, manage change orders, and provide accurate schedule narratives. The role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency with Primavera P6 and related tools in a fast-paced

Qualifications

6+ years of project scheduling experience with a High School Diploma.
4+ years of project scheduling with an Associate degree.
0+ years with a Bachelor's degree is acceptable as alternative.

Responsibilities

Creates and updates project schedules with proper predecessors and successors.
Decomposes scope into discrete activities matching duration constraints.
Manages procurement, submittals, reviews, and material delivery timelines in the schedule.
Analyzes quantity take-offs for schedule accuracy and completeness.
Resource loads schedules to forecast material, equipment, and labor needs.
Tracks costs, schedule, and earned value; reports status monthly.
Inputs pending/approved change orders into the schedule.
Designs frag nets to show impact of submittals on change orders.
Leads site surveys coordination and supports work area setup.
Identifies constructability constraints and reflects them in the schedule.
Produces baseline vs. actual reports and narratives; maintains CPM narratives.
