Job summary

KBH Industrial in Richland, WA is seeking a project controls specialist on a contract basis. You will develop and analyze schedules and costs, report variances, and support risk identification for the Nuclear Development program.

Responsibilities include budget-to-actual reporting, forecasting, and assisting in the annual budget cycle. Requires Primavera P6 training and strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years in project controls/PM in industrial settings; Primavera P6 training.
• Office-based budgeting and reporting experience; GASB knowledge advantageous.
• Ability to generate ad hoc budget analysis and explain variances.

Responsibilities

• Assist with budget-to-actual reporting and variance analyses.
• Support annual budget cycle and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and update budget policies and desk manuals.
• Monitor project schedule, scope and cost changes for timely reporting.
• Provide financial guidance and analytical support to the Budgets Department.
