Job summary

Eutaw Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls professional to manage job cost accounting, financial reporting, and project billing for large-scale infrastructure work.

The role collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, and accounting to ensure timely, accurate financial visibility across highways, bridges, and utilities. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, strong knowledge of GAAP, experience with construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency with construction accounting software and Excel.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and construction contract accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with field and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate job cost records for heavy civil projects.
• Prepare and review monthly cost reports and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Process and review project billings per contract terms.
• Reconcile AP/AR, retention, and intercompany transactions.
• Support change order accounting and cost recovery processes.
• Ensure GAAP and contract compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist with month-end close and project reconciliations.
• Coordinate with PMs on budget setup and cost coding.
• Prepare documentation for audits, bonding, and lender reporting.
