Job summary

FITS LLC in Puerto Rico is seeking a Project Controls professional for Capital Projects. You will support estimates, cost engineering, planning and scheduling, claims management, and risk management within the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Controls within Pharma/Medical Devices industry with 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team in estimates, cost engineering, planning and scheduling, claims management, and risk management.
• Ensure project controls work is managed in accordance with GFD procedures and best practices.
• Assess resource requirements to support all project control needs.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of project estimates with Estimator or consultants.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of budget.
• Coordinate development of baseline project schedule, and subsequent updates.
• Coordinate and produce the project cost and progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Support procurement in the development of the project controls requirements of construction RFP documents.
• Provide quality assurance for project controls section of the Project Management gate review protocols.
• Supervise project controls support personnel assigned to project.
• Identify and analyze potential project issues through risk management techniques.
• Recommend corrective action and provide follow up on those recommendations.
• Promote communication and teamwork within group and project.
• Provide assistance in defending the clientfrom vendor claims.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
