Job summary

Airswift is delivering a complex programme in Spring, TX, seeking a Project Controls Engineer III to drive reporting, forecasting, and cost/schedule integration across multiple project activities.

You will work closely with leadership and project teams to enhance visibility into milestones, budgets, and performance, while supporting capital efficiency and delivery outcomes in a technically demanding environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience developing and managing complex project schedules with interdependencies.
  • Experience identifying critical milestones and creating reporting to highlight delivery risks.
  • Experience supporting cost and schedule performance tracking against project objectives.
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting and change management activities within project environments.

  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules with key milestones and interdependencies.
  • Produce monthly or periodic reporting covering cost, schedule, progress, and expenditure profiles.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, change management and risk visibility across projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership and project teams to drive reporting and performance improvements.

Job description

Job Title: Project Controls Engineer III

Duration: Approx. 18 months

Schedule: 5/40

Location: Spring, TX

This opportunity will support a complex programme environment focused on project controls, integrated scheduling and budget transparency across multiple project delivery activities. The role will work closely with leadership and project teams to help drive effective reporting, forecasting, change management and risk visibility. This position offers the chance to contribute to critical milestones, support capital efficiency and strengthen delivery performance across a technically demanding project setting.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, data science, manufacturing systems, industrial technology, or a related discipline.
Required Experience:
  • Experience developing and managing complex project schedules with critical interdependencies
  • Experience identifying critical milestones and creating effective reporting to highlight delivery risks
  • Experience supporting cost and schedule performance tracking against project objectives
  • Experience with forecasting, budgeting and change management activities within project environments
  • Experience tracking purchase orders and subcontracts as part of cost analysis and reporting
Required Skills:
  • Strong capability across cost, planning and scheduling engineering activities
  • Ability to build integrated schedules and highlight critical dependencies and key milestones
  • Strong analytical skills with sound decision-making and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to prepare monthly reporting deliverables covering cost, schedule, progress highlights and expenditure profiles
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills to work with project teams and functional groups
  • Ability to identify opportunities for capital efficiency and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle

Willingness to travel to liaise with appropriate project teams
