Job summary

Spire Consulting Group LLC in Austin, TX seeks a Consultant to support proactive project controls engagements across owners, contractors, and subcontractors in the AEC industry. You will assist with schedule development and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes CPM scheduling, earned value analysis, risk assessment, QA/QC, and developing SOPs while working with a collaborative team committed to excellence and client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline is a plus.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in project controls, scheduling, cost estimating, engineering, or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop CPM schedules and review baseline schedules for comprehensiveness and risk.
• Review contracts, specs, and drawings to confirm design and construction schedule baselines.
• Identify relationships, constraints, milestones, and the optimal sequence of work in schedules.
• Perform schedule risk analyses and evaluate schedule contents and forecasted work.
• Create SOPs and templates; contribute to company standards and processes.
• Communicate clearly with clients and prepare project controls training programs.
