Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support project work for a large utility company. This role emphasizes financial controls over scheduling and requires strong cost management, accounting principles, and budgeting expertise.

You will help maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking while supporting project teams with cost control and GAAP-compliant reporting. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in project controls, Excel proficiency, and utilities sector experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project controls, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accrual accounting, and cost control methodologies.
• Ability to work with debits/credits and general ledger concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Prior experience working in the Utilities Industry (gas, electric, or similar infrastructure).
