Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Project Controller I to drive project control activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation, in collaboration with the technical lead and project manager.

You will coordinate with customers and subcontractors across multiple projects, support proposal development, and ensure compliance with procedures and standards while maintaining strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• 6+ years of experience supporting project work.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including MS Project.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• Negative drug test result(s).

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of accounting principles

Experience with Deltek Vision or other project management software

Pay Range Data:

$39.00 - $59.00 hourly

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Project Controller I level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
