Job summary

Conflux Systems in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Project Controller to drive project execution through cost controlling, financial analysis, forecasting, and SAP-based data management. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate financials and continuous process improvements.

The role requires hands-on SAP ERP/SAP PS, solid Excel and analytical skills, and experience in engineering or EPC environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Controls, Cost Controls, or Project Finance.
• Strong forecasting, EAC, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Hands-on SAP ERP/SAP PS, WBS, and project financial data.
• Proficient Excel with analytical and communication abilities.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, EPC, or project-based environments preferred.

Job description

Seeking an experienced Project Controller to support project execution through cost controlling, financial analysis, forecasting, and SAP-based project data management. This role works closely with Project Managers, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate project financials, reporting, and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain project financial structures in SAP, including WBS, cost plans, and project master data.
• Perform EAC calculations, cost forecasting, variance analysis, and budget tracking.
• Analyze actual costs, commitments, cost-to-complete, risks, and financial adjustments.
• Support monthly forecasting, accruals, reporting, project reviews, and project closeout activities.
• Improve cost control processes, data accuracy, and reporting efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Project Controls, Cost Controls, Project Finance, or Cost Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, EAC, variance analysis, financial reporting, and cost management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP/SAP PS, WBS structures, and project financial data.
• Strong Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, EPC, or project-based environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, or Power Query is a plus.
