Zachry Engineering Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Controls Specialist I to support major industrial and energy projects in Hammond, Indiana. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, cost control, progress measurement, forecasting, and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Controls Specialist I will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, construction personnel, and client stakeholders to ensure project performance is accurately measured, reported, and aligned with established project objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, expertise in project controls systems, and experience supporting large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry, and move objects safely.
Will work in a general office environment. Capable of operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment. Must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less.
