Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an experienced Project Controls – Lead to support large-scale gas generation projects. You will lead regulatory reporting, compliance, audits, and executive reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely project information.

You will review cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and change data; coordinate with engineering, construction, finance, procurement, legal, and project controls; support regulatory filings and prudency reviews;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Finance, PM, Communications)
• 15+ years of experience in Project Controls on large EPC or utility projects
• Strong experience with cost management, scheduling, forecasting, EVM, risk management and change management
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory reporting, compliance, and audit activities.
• Review and analyze project cost, schedule, forecasting, risk, and change management data.
• Prepare executive reports, regulatory filings, and business presentations.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, finance, procurement, legal, and project controls teams.
• Support regulatory audits, prudency reviews, and information requests.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Project Controls on large EPC or utility projects.
• Strong experience with cost management, scheduling, forecasting, EVM, risk management, and change management.
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with utility, power generation, natural gas, or energy projects.
• Experience supporting regulatory filings, rate cases, audits, or prudency reviews.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and EcoSys.
• PMP, PMI, AACE, CCP, PSP, or similar certifications are a plus.
