Ellaway Blues Consulting seeks a Director of Project Controls to lead cost control, scheduling, and reporting across a portfolio of major greenfield capital projects in Texas.
You will partner with engineering, procurement, construction, and finance to deliver clear visibility of performance, drive risk mitigation, and establish standards and processes as the organization scales its capital projects function.
We are currently supporting a growing advanced manufacturing organization in Texas who are looking to appoint a Director of Project Controls to provide leadership across a portfolio of major greenfield capital projects.
This is a senior-level position responsible for bringing together cost control, scheduling, project reporting, and document control across a significant capital investment program. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and executive leadership to provide clear visibility around project performance, identify risks early, and ensure projects remain aligned with cost, schedule, and delivery expectations. The role will also play an important part in developing the systems, processes, and controls required as the organization continues to scale its capital project’s function.
From a profile perspective, this role would suit an experienced Project Controls leader who has worked on large, complex capital projects within manufacturing, energy, chemicals, mining, infrastructure, or another capital-intensive industrial environment. You’ll need a strong understanding of both cost and schedule management, along with experience working across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building and improving project controls functions rather than simply maintaining an established process. The position offers the opportunity to play a significant role in the delivery of major new manufacturing facilities, work closely with senior leadership, and help shape how future capital projects are planned, controlled, and delivered.
