GEI Consultants seeks a Project Civil/Geotechnical Engineer in Knoxville to support field investigations, design, and project coordination under senior supervision. You will prepare design documents, reports, and schedules while traveling to sites and other offices as needed, contributing to a range of projects from dams to flood control.

GEI’s Knoxville office is seeking a Project Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be part of a connected team of GEI professionals working across the country. This individual will contribute to planning and implementation of projects in a variety of natural and urban settings. Under supervision of more senior staff, this individual will provide support to ongoing field and engineering design efforts. Field activities will include coordination and documentation of geotechnical investigations and construction quality assurance projects. The candidate will also provide support to ongoing design efforts that include preparation of design documents for geotechnical analyses such as derivation of geotechnical engineering parameters, bearing capacity, and settlement.
